Paris Jackson: I want to be a surgeon
Michael Jackson's only daughter has lofty career goals — all off-stage.
Despite her immense wealth, musical upbringing and easy access to entertainment bigwigs, Paris Jackson said she wants to be a heart surgeon when she grows up.
"I want to help people," the 15-year-old musical scion told today's edition of The Daily Mail.
Despite all the weird elements of her childhood, Paris said her dad really did want his kids to lead a normal childhood.
That's how she explained MJ's creepy practice of making his kids wear masks in public: "He didn’t want anyone to see what we looked like. That way we could have what he didn’t, which was a normal childhood."
Paris wants her father’s Neverland estate restored and turned into a destination for sick children to enjoy.
The Jackson family and investment firm Colony Capital own the sprawling Santa Barbara County property where Paris spent her early childhood.
Paris revealed she visited Neverland two years ago and was sad to see the Ferris wheel had been removed.
"I cried and cried," she said. "It’s beautiful there. It still has good energy."
