Michael Jackson was allegedly drunk during his press call at London's O2 back in 2009.Dermot O'Leary introduced the late pop icon at the London venue four years ago, where he announced his comeback shows This Is It.
Mark Lester - the former Oliver! child actor and close friend of Jackson - claims that he used to smuggle him alcohol, including before the press event.
The osteopath told The Sun that Jackson would drink up to six bottles of wine a day in order to battle his insomnia.
"Michael passed out on the hotel bed. His doctor said he'd drunk two-thirds of a bottle of whisky and was paralytic," Lester said.
"He sobered up enough to struggle through the This Is It speech, which he just about got away with."
Michael Jackson died of a sedative overdose just three months later.
Mark Lester is the godfather to Michael Jackson's three children, and has claimed in the past to be the real father to Paris Jackson, after allegedly donating sperm to the singer.
