Thomas Hall prowled around Piccadilly train station in Manchester, before attacking four sex workers
A sex predator raped THREE women in under an HOUR during a series of sickening attacks.
Serial rapist Thomas Hall, 33, prowled around Piccadilly train station in Manchester, before attacking four sex workers.
He raped three and sexually assaulted the other.
When he carried out the attacks he was already on police bail for raping another woman a month earlier.
Manchester Crown Court heard how Hall was said to have bragged to a friend on the phone 'I've done three or four now. I've had the best night of my life' after attacking his last victim.
Two of the women were forced to run half-naked down the street and flag down passing motorists to raise the alarm after escaping his clutches, the court was told.
Hall, a paranoid schizophrenic since he was teenager, had heard voices in his head telling him to 'get everyone'.
He will now be detained indefinitely at maximum security Ashworth Hospital.
A judge said prison wasn't suitable and ordered him to be held at the hospital under the mental health act.
He cannot be released without the say so of doctors and a mental health tribunal.
Judge Richard Mansell QC said: "You are a very dangerous man. Ordinarily you would receive lengthy custodial sentence running well into double figures
"These offences demonstrate serious violence and sexual violence. You pose a risk not just to women, but people generally.
"It is impossible to know how long that risk will remain."
Hall, formerly of Mount Pleasant Street, Audenshaw, Tameside, went out 'flush' with money on the evening of Tuesday, March 5, after receiving his benefit payments, Henry Blackshaw, prosecuting said.
He was spotted at the offices of the Manchester Action for Street Health charity on Fairfield Street making derogatory comments about prostitutes.
He then snared his first victim, who was in her twenties, at around8.30pm.
After asking her if she was working he went with her to a nearby industrial estate before grabbing her by the throat, putting his hand over her mouth and sexually assaulting her.
He asked her if she wanted 'compensation' and when she refused punched her in the face as she fled, Mr Blackshaw said.
Just minutes later, Hall approached a second woman.
He dragged her to a wooded area near Great Ancoats Street where he raped her.
The woman was said to be so terrified, she said she thought she was going to die.
She was able to wriggle free and ran into the street where a university lecturer let her take refuge in his car.
Not long afterwards Hall approached a sex worker in her thirties on Betley Street before taking her to a nearby field where he raped her.
The victim told him she was pregnant in a desperate attempt to make him stop, but he continued for 15 minutes.
She managed to escape and alert a passing driver who took her away from the scene.
The last attack was around 9.30pmwhere, after taking a prostitute to an alleyway on Harrison Street, Hall raped her.
Afterwards she heard him on the phone bragging to a friend.
He was eventually seen getting on the 219 bus making its way out of the city centre and down Ashton Old Road.
Police were alerted and they stopped the bus near Alan Turing Way, arresting him on board.
He is said to have told officers 'how can it be rape if you've paid out?'.
Hall was already on police bail after raping a sex worker in February.
Hall, who also suffers from personality disorders, pleaded guilty to four counts of rape, one sexual assault and assault causing actual bodily harm at an earlier hearing.
Adrian Farrow, defending, said Hall had had a very troubling experience in childhood which led to him having flashbacks.
He said: "Before these offences he admitted himself to hospital complaining that he was hearing voices and told them they had a responsibility to protect him from others, showing a degree of insight.
