A second British tourist has been brutally beaten and hit over the head with a bottle at a popular Turkish resort just a week after another Brit was attacked there.
The man was left half-naked and bleeding after he was savagely assaulted in the bustling coastal town of Marmaris.
Believed to be Arron Saunders, 27, from London, he was treated by paramedics and a doctor at the scene of the attack on Thursday night.
The shocking pictures come just a week after images of stabbed British holiday-maker, Dwayne Ward, were broadcast around the world after a bloody attack in the same resort.
Dwayne, 17, from Middlesbrough, had been stabbed with a pen-knife, slashed with a razor, stripped naked and left for dead in a garden.
Latest victim Arron and his girlfriend were out on the busy Long Beach promenade when he was attacked.
According to reports, Arron had been out drinking and wandered out of a bar before a bottle was smashed over his head.
Concerned witnesses called an ambulance to the scene.
Despite police efforts to calm him, Arron and his girlfriend refused to go to hospital.
A Turkish police source said: “The welfare of tourists is of paramount importance to us. We want people to come out and enjoy the sunshine.
“But, unfortunately, when alcohol is involved, it often ends in disaster.”ce
