A middle aged farmer identified as Martins
Ekwue, resident of Jarret in Asaba, Delta
State has reportedly been killed after his
wife had a quarrel with a commercial sex
worker who lives in the same community.

LEADERSHIP Sunday reliably gathered that
a little quarrel started between the wife and
another lady believed to be a commercial
sex worker living in the same compound
after one of the ladies was singing a song.
The said commercial sex worker then
confronted her, saying that the song had
reference to her.
An eye witness said that the incident
which occurred in the early hours of
yesterday as a result of an argument which
ensued where the housewife called her
husband on phone informing him of what
was going on. Hence, the husband in a
hurry after she narrated her side of the
story swung into action to know the cause
of the problem.

man and she allegedly drew a dagger and
stabbed the man.
Speaking further on the issue, DSP Kalu
said that the gruesome murder of the man
was pathetic, adding that the suspect
