A crazed teenage father bit off the nose of his
one-month-old baby after the little boy would
not stop crying, police have said.
The tiny child’s 17-year-old mother was
“hysterical” when she called cops in Fairfeld,
California, to report her son was bleeding
profusely shortly after 8am on Thursday.
Officers arrived to find the boy screaming in
pain having had his nose chewed off.
Joshua Cooper, 18, was arrested at the scene
by police and held at Solano County Jail on
suspicion of child cruelty and aggravated
mayhem.
The baby also suffered a skull fracture and
brain haemorrhage and was taken to the
hospital, where he is described as being in a
stable condition.
The police report stated Cooper had become
frustrated with the baby crying.
