David Cameron pulled his ministerial car over and
held a woman’s hand after she collapsed in the
street.
The Prime Minister was travelling to an event in
Harrow with Boris Johnson, when the Mayor of
London spotted the woman.
The pair ordered their driver to pull over so they
could help the woman.
Mr Cameron’s security team called an ambulance
and tended to the woman until help arrived.
Dominic Stark, one of the paramedics who
attended the scene, said that he arrived to find Mr
Cameron holding the woman’s hand.
He said: “I was told the Prime Minister and Boris
Johnson had pulled over when they noticed a
woman collapsed on the street.
“When I arrived a few minutes later, I found the PM
holding the woman’s hand. I took over caring for
the patient and they left a few minutes later. The
patient was taken to hospital.”
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service
said: “We webre called at 11.19am this morning to
reports of a woman taken unwell on Sheepcote
Road, Harrow.
“We sent a paramedic in a car, who arrived in
three minutes, and an ambulance crew to the
scene. The woman was taken to Northwick Park
hospital.”
It is understood that Mr Johnson saw the woman
by the side of the road and shouted for the driver
to stop the vehicle.
