French TV weather girl makes good on promise of naked World Cup forfeit
A TV weather girl who vowed to present the forecast naked if France qualified for the World Cup has made good on her promise – well, sort of.
So when goals from Mamadou Sakho and Karim Benzema levelled the tie on aggregate in the return leg in Paris last night, a nervous Tillier tweeted: ‘F*** France 2-0 Ukraine. I start to be stressed.’
Tillier’s worst fears were realised when Liverpool defender Sakho netted the 72nd-minute winner that booked France’s place in Brazil and sent ratings soaring for tonight’s Canal+ forecast.
Pervy viewers were perhaps disappointed, however. Instead of a bare-chested Tillier at her desk, viewers were shown pre-recorded footage of the naked 27-year-old prancing around in a field - all shot from a pre-watershed-compliant distance – before cutting to our fully-clothed heroine back in the studio.
Still, top marks for being a good sport.
