John Fashanu Says wife Abigail Tried
to KILL him after 'walking in on
raunchy sex threesome'
The former Gladiators host is now at the centre of a
bitter divorce battle with Abigail – and also insists
SHE cheated on him with a woman
Soccer legend John Fashanu has accused his wife of
trying to kill him – after she allegedly found him
bedding two women at the same time.
The retired former Wimbledon and England striker said
estranged Abigail Onyekwelu went for him with a knife
during a furious row at their home.
Fashanu, also a former Gladiators host, is now at the
centre of a bitter divorce battle with Abigail – and
insists SHE cheated on him with a woman.
She denies his claims and the astonishing battle –
which includes the accusation that he bedded their
maid – is to be played out in the high court in Abuja,
Nigeria.
Furious Abigail, 48, said last night: “Good riddance to
bad rubbish! I’ve left him and washed my hands.”
But Fashanu, 52 – dubbed Fash the Bash for his
hardman reputation in Wimbledon’s famous “Crazy
Gang” – hit back with an extraordinary series of
allegations.
He said he had to call in police to protect him from
knife-wielding Abigail and was devastated to find her
in bed with another woman.
He also alleged that she stole thousands of pounds in
cash from their marital home.
Speaking exclusively to the Sunday People the star –
who now presents the Nigerian version of TV’s Deal or
No Deal – said: “She attempted to use knives on me.
It was terrifying.
“My life was at stake, there’s no two ways about that.
“Even if you did think I was sleeping with the maid, or
even if you thought I was sleeping with Miss Nigeria,
don’t kill me! Just leave me and go. The violence was
just too much.”
6ft 2in Fashanu added: “My life was at risk and I didn’t
want it to happen again. That’s why I filed for
divorce.”
He denied his wife’s claim to have discovered him in
bed with two other women – one of them their maid.
“I’ve been very fortunate to date some of the most
beautiful women in the world,” Fash insisted. “I
certainly don’t have to sleep with my cleaner!
“This is me, John Fashanu, you’re talking to. It’s
absolute nonsense. If she wants to make up that story,
at least let her say it’s Beyoncé or someone.
“Don’t say it’s my cleaner, that’s just b******s. It’s not
true at all.
“The truth is she’s been cheating on me with a woman
she calls her spiritual partner.
“I caught them in the bed many times. That was why I
kicked her out of my house.”
Abigail is the mother of former beauty queen Adaeze
Yobo. Fashanu met her in 2009. They married two
years later but the relationship hit the skids last year.
Father-of-five Fashanu claimed police are now
investigating an attack on him. He also alleged that
officers are trying to retrieve missing cash from
Abigail.
He said: “I’m the one who is filing for divorce. I
couldn’t stand her and, to be honest, she probably
couldn’t stand me. With Abigail it was just money,
money, money.
“I’ve never seen a woman who has such an appetite
for money. Nearly one million Nigerian naira (around
£3,300) was stolen from my house in Abuja. There are
police reports you can see.
“There were so many assaults, it was just getting too
much. It was absolutely ridiculous. She attacked me
on multiple occasions. The whole situation was far too
hot for me. There are some wonderful, wonderful
women. It’s just that I met the wrong one.”
Glamorous socialite Abigail, a qualified lawyer and
mother-in-law to former Nigerian football captain
Joseph Yobo, paints a totally different picture of the
marriage breakdown.
The mother of four said: “John’s saying I tried to kill
him? Oh my God, this is so funny. I don’t quite
understand all this.
“How can I kill him? How can somebody like me kill
this huge man who is an expert in karate. I don’t
understand how I can kill him.”
Told that he had accused her of going to his house
armed with knives before trying to attack him, Abigail
retorted: “Oh my God, that is ridiculous.”
She also rejected Fashanu’s claim that he threw her
out of his house
after finding her in bed with another woman.
Abigail said: “He didn’t kick me out of his house. We
were living in my house. He couldn’t have kicked me
out of my own house – I kicked him out.”
Of the woman concerned, she insisted: “She is a good
friend to me. She has a husband and children. It is
ridiculous. She was living with me for a while to get
back on her feet.”
Abigail went on: “I caught him in bed with two women,
the housemaid and one other woman. There were two
women, it was awful.
“They were on the bed. They were undressed. I said to
them, ‘Who are you and what’s going on here?’
“He told me that he doesn’t know what he’s doing and
I should pray for him. He knows how to manipulate
people, that’s one thing he is good at.
“I last saw him in April last year. I didn’t know he’d
filed for divorce. He has been calling people asking
them to plead with me to get back with him.
“I would have filed for divorce myself but I haven’t
because I’ve been very busy. And he asked me not to
because he did not want to make it known that we
had separated.
“So I went on my way and I left him but I didn’t tell
anybody anything.
“I’ve told him, ‘I don’t want you any more, I have
forgiven you, I’m a Christian. But I don’t want you any
more, just leave me alone.’
I don’t take him seriously. I don’t have time for him. If
I should be angry at anyone, I should be angry at
myself for descending so low as to enter into marriage
with such a person.”
Responding to claims she stole money from Fashanu,
Abigail added: “Anybody can say anything – but how
can I go to his house and steal from him in his house?
“I wasn’t living there with him. He’s sick and he needs
help.”
Fashanu was born in London to a Guyanan nurse,
Pearl, and Nigerian barrister, Patrick. After they split
up he had a spell in a Barnado’s home and was
fostered in Norfolk.
His football career included spells with Norwich City,
Lincoln City, Crystal Palace, Millwall and Aston Villa.
He joined Wimbledon in 1986 and famously won the FA
Cup in 1988 in a team including Vinnie Jones and
Lawrie Sanchez.
Fashanu scored more than 100 goals during his 17-
year career, which also included two appearances for
England.
After retiring from football he hosted the hit 1990s TV
show Gladiators for seven years alongside Ulrika
Jonsson.
In 2003 he starred as a contestant in the ITV reality
show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
His first marriage, to Ivory Coast model Melissa Kassa-
Mapsi, ended in divorce in 2004. Now Fashanu is a
famous and respected figure in Africa.
He has carried out extensive charity work and is
understood to have been a friend of Nelson Mandela.
He is a UN Ambassador for Nigeria, a former Unicef
goodwill ambassador for 53 African countries and a
former board member of the Nigeria Football
Association.
He also worked to develop professional football across
Africa and was Nigeria’s Ambassador for Sport and
Tourism. Fashanu now presents the Deal or No Deal
Nigeria game show on The Africa Channel and is a
successful businessman with interests in London and
Abuja.
But the star suffered heartbreak when his brother
Justin, who was Britain’s first openly gay professional
footballer, hanged himself in London in 1988.
After his brother’s suicide, Fashanu expressed remorse
for disowning him because of his homosexuality.
But he later claimed he did not believe Justin was
genuinely gay.
Wife Abigail claims he has fathered six children by
three different women.
Meanwhile he added: “I filed the divorce petition in
September and it’s listed for mention on the 19th of
next month at the court in Abuja. We’re trying to move
it through.”- culled

Responding to claims she stole money from Fashanu,
Abigail added: “Anybody can say anything – but how
can I go to his house and steal from him in his house?
“I wasn’t living there with him. He’s sick and he needs
help.”
Fashanu was born in London to a Guyanan nurse,
Pearl, and Nigerian barrister, Patrick. After they split
up he had a spell in a Barnado’s home and was
fostered in Norfolk.

Lincoln City, Crystal Palace, Millwall and Aston Villa.

I didn’t know he’d

them to plead with me to get back with him.
“I would have filed for divorce myself but I haven’t

because he did not want to make it known that we
had separated.
“So I went on my way and I left him but I didn’t tell
anybody anything.

forgiven you, I’m a Christian.
He’s sick and he needs
help.”

“I’ve never seen a woman who has such an appetite
for money. Nearly one million Nigerian naira (around
£3,300) was stolen from my house in Abuja. There are
police reports you can see.

Couple Stab 10-year- old In The Vagina
Couple Stab Neighbour's 10-Year-Old
Girl In The Vagina
A young girl of 10, Chidinma, has been admitted to the
hospital after a couple – Eucharia Chukwuma and
Jerry Oko-Oboh – beat her up and stabbed her in the
private parts with a broken bottle.
The incident happened at shared residence of the
couple and the victim’s family, on Joshua Street,
Agbabiaka, in the Ajangbadi area of Lagos.
It was learnt that the couple assaulted 10-year-old
Chidinma for allegedly touching the vagina of their
three-year-old daughter, Peace who cried and reported
to her parents that Chidinma fiddled with her private
parts.
Chidinma however denied the allegation and said she
had only played with Peace at about 7pm on April 6
but didn't touch her privates.
Angered by the report, Peace's 30-year-old mother,
Eucharia, rushed to Chidinma’s mother, Ofia,
demanding that Chidinma follow her to her room.
A few minutes later, Ofia reportedly heard her daughter
screaming and rushed to Chukwuma’s apartment to
see what was wrong.
On getting there, the door was said to have been
locked by the couple who reportedly beat up the victim
repeatedly with punches. Not satisfied, the wife
allegedly stabbed Chidinma in the private parts and
smeared them with pepper.
The couple fled the neighbourhood when blood started
gushing from Chidinma’s vagina.
Policemen from Okokomaiko Police Division later
trailed and arrested the couple after the case was
reported.
The police said Chukwuma, in a statement she
voluntarily made at the station, confessed to stabbing
the girl in the privates and rubbing pepper, because
she became furious when the girl declined comments
about Peace’s allegation.
She and her husband have however been arraigned
before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court on three counts
bordering on assault.

Demonizing Islam with their stupidity
12 Nigerian & Ghanian Christian
migrants killed following religious
clash on a Boat in Italy
12 Nigerian and Ghanian migrants who were traveling
on a boat with Muslim migrants from Libya to Italy
were this week killed after the Muslims on the boat
threw them into the sea following a religious clash on
the boat. According to report, the motive for the
attack was because the victims 'professed the
Christian faith while the aggressors were Muslim'.
The illegal immigrants, 105 of them in number, left
Libya on Tuesday in a rubber boat. When they sailed
north across the Mediterranean Sea, a fight broke out
and the Muslim occupants in the boat, mainly from
Ivory Coast, Mali and Senegal engaged in a fight with
their fellow immigrants who were Christians and threw
12 of them overboard, Italian police said.
Other Christians who survived the attack on the boat
told police that they were spared "because they
strongly opposed the drowning attempt and formed a
human chain".
The Italian police have arrested 15 of the Muslims that
carried out the attack and they will be charged with
multiple homicide.

Polish man admits kidnapping and
murdering 9-year-old girl after she shot

Thursday 16 April 2015
A Polish convicted criminal yesterday
admitted kidnapping and murdering a 9
years old girl who squirted him with a water
pistol as he drank beer in Calais while
waiting for a ferry to Britain.
The man, named as Zbigniew H., 38, seized
the little girl by the neck and dragged her
into his car shouting “I will kill you”,
witnesses said.
Her partially clothed body was found in
woodland two hours later. The local state
prosecutor, Jean-Pierre Valensi, said
yesterday that the man had admitted
murdering and sexually assaulting the girl.

The death of Chloe, abducted on Wednesday
as she played in the street outside her own
home, has caused a wave of shock and anger
in France. The mayoress of Calais, Natacha
Bouchart, led a silent march of protest
through the streets of the Channel port
tonight.
In a tweet urging local people to join the
march, she said that Calais was “in mourning
for Chloe” and ordered flags to be flown at
half mast.
Chloe’s suspected killer was released from a
French prison in March last year after
serving four years of a six year sentence for
extortion and violence. He was deported to
Poland and banned from returning to French
territory.
The prosecutor said that he was driving from
Poland to Britain to visit his sister on
Wednesday afternoon when he pulled into a
side street in Calais to drink beer.

Eye-witnesses said that they saw the little girl
and a friend squirt him with a water pistol
through the open car window. A neighbour
told the local paper, La Voix du Nord, that he
had seen the man seize Chloe by the neck,
“almost strangling her”.
“She struggled and tried to get way. He held
her against a wall and shouted ‘I will kill
you’,” the eyewitness said. He then bundled
her into his car and drove away as her
mother looked on.
When arrested on Wednesday night close to
the woodland on the edge of Calais where the
child’s body was found, Zbigniew W was
breathalysed and had more than twice the
permitted limit of alcohol for drivers in his
blood, the prosecutor said.
He told a press conference yesterday that that
the man had confessed to sexually assaulting
and strangling the girl. The suspect faces
charges of abducting a minor, rape and
murder.
The Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, promised
an investigation on why the suspected killer
was released early from a French prison and
how he came to return to France. The
interior minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, said
that he had already asked the Polish
authorities for an explanation.

Extreme Wickedness
Police Seek Arrest of Mother of Disabled Son
Left in Woods
By RON TODT Associated Press
PHILADELPHIA — An arrest warrant has been issued
for the mother of a severely disabled man left in the
woods for several days near a Philadelphia park,
authorities said.
Nyia Parler left her 21-year-old son — who is
quadriplegic and has cerebral palsy — lying in leaves
and covered with a blanket next to a wheelchair and
Bible while she left town, police said. He was found
Friday night near Cobbs Creek Park.
Police believe he was left there between the time he
and his mother were seen together on Easter Sunday
and before his mother boarded a bus Monday for
Maryland to visit her boyfriend, said Lt. John Walker of
the Southwest Detectives division.
Walker said the victim was found was around the
corner from their home and described the scenario
authorities believe to have taken place this way: "She
pushes him about 150 yards from the highway into the
wooded area, takes him out of wheelchair, lays him on
the ground, puts a blanket over him and leaves a Bible
with him, and then just walks away."
During the period he was exposed to the elements, the
young man was "completely defenseless" in an area
with wild animals, with no water and in cold, damp
weather, Walker said.
"It's only by the grace of God that he survived this.
Amazing," he said.
Contacted in Maryland after the young man's school
became concerned about her absence, the victim's
mother told relatives and authorities that he was with
her, Walker said.
"Obviously her statements made during the week were
not truthful," he said. Her boyfriend, however, assumed
other relatives were caring for the young man and "was
in shock when he learned what happened," Walker said.
A 16-year-old son also residing with the family is now
the care of other family relatives, Walker said.
Parler, 41, of Philadelphia, will face charges including
aggravated assault, reckless endangering, neglect of a
care-dependent person, kidnapping, unlawful restraint
and false imprisonment, according to police.
Walker said the son was hospitalized with dehydration,
malnutrition, a deep cut on his back that caused
concern about potential infection and possible eye
injuries, but he appeared to be improving.
"He seemed to be a little happier yesterday," Walker
said. "You could tell he knew his family was around
and felt more comfortable."
A listed number for Parker couldn't be found Sunday
and it wasn't clear whether she had an attorney.

RIP
EKO HOSPITAL, A BUILDING OF DEATHS?
This piece is a hard one for me to write, hard and very
difficult. As I write this, I am filled with deep sorrow for
what could have been that was not. This piece is not
intended to do anything but to warn unsuspecting
members of the public. A warning that is necessary at
this time because “evil deeds thrive when good men do
nothing”
My discourse is centred on the level of
mismanagement, inefficiency and a total lack of
respect for life exhibited by management and staff of
EKO Hospital on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja.
My friend’s wife, Dolapo, a young mother of 2 boys ,
with a promising banking career, pregnant with the 3rd
child had complained of leg pains to her husband on
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Her husband took her to the
EKO Hospital for treatment (their registered HMO
provider), they were told that the leg pains were normal
for pregnant women at her stage and were
subsequently given some paracetamol tablets to use.
Getting home, the pains did not subside, in fact, it grew
worse. It got to a point that she could not walk with
the legs on her own. The husband had no choice but
to return to the hospital on Friday April 3, 2015 at
around 3pm when it was obvious things were not
getting better. At that point, The doctor on duty
advised them to wait for the consultant and Dolapo
was made to sit out the ‘’wait’’ in a wheelchair as her
legs could no longer support and carry her, in any case
the consultant did not show up until Saturday afternoon
being 04/04/1. She repeatedly beckoned on the staff
on duty to perform a CS and safely get the baby out as
she could sense and feel that something was
ominously wrong. The pregnancy was well into 8
months. Some scan were recommended and the person
to conduct the scan had reportedly closed for the day
and only surfaced at about 9pm on Friday and the wait
dragged well into the night
Dolapo was in pains on the wheel chair, she was being
moved from her ward to the scanning room when the
head of the baby came out on the wheel chair, her
husband screamed and rushed her quickly into the
elevator, yes, ELEVATOR!!. The baby could not stand
the trauma, he came out in transit, right there in the
elevator. A nurse had to hold the baby’s head,
supporting it while the elevator goes to labour theatre,
the baby was pulled out before they could make it to
the theatre. This was at 9.30pm on Friday. The baby
became the centre of attention for the hospital staff of
Duty while neglecting Dolapo all alone for more than 1
hr 30 mins while they attended to the baby to revive
him.
She was left unattended to, in pains, right there in the
theatre. She was eventually moved back to her ward .
The consultant eventually turned up around 4pm on
Saturday. The husband engaged him and he requested
that some tests be done to ascertain what level of
treatment or care to give. He was told she (the wife)
would be fine and the test results would be ready by
Tuesday because of the holidays.
On Sunday, April 5, 2015, at about 8am in the morning,
I visited her in the hospital and sat beside her on the
bed offering words of encouragements. She was still in
pains, and she was hardly audible, she could only
answer in nods and made attempts at a faint smile to
reassure myself and her husband that she would be
fine.
It came as a rude shock when I called the husband at
about 12 pm and he was crying profusely, saying
Dolapo is lying down lifeless and that I should please
pray. I was to say the least devastated, I was asking
loads and loads of questions and he kept saying please
pray, pray.
I got to the hospital to meet the lifeless body on the
bed, she was dead! What happened? How did this
happen? Nobody could offer any explanation. There
was no doctor around, I asked the nurse on duty and
she just said she is dead. I recalled she was eating
when I left earlier, how could she have gone from
eating to being dead in less than 3 hrs?
The husband told me she was given an injection to
suppress the pains on her leg and immediately started
gasping for breath, oxygen tanks were brought in to
revive her but it was too late. She was gone before
anything could be done.
The body was left in the room for more than 24 hours,
several prayer sessions were held to bring her back to
life. In the more than 24 hrs period after her death, no
doctor from EKO Hospital came out to say this was
what happened. No personnel came around to ask
people to leave the room, the body was not covered
nor washed. It was simply business as usual for them.
It was normal for someone to give birth and die? The
Medical Director of the hospital did not deem it fit to
offer explanation or even try to prevail on the family to
leave the body so that necessary medical procedures
could be done.
I will leave my readers to ask questions from this write
up, perhaps, I am being too expectant, maybe too
optimistic about my expectations from a Hospital as
reputable as EKO Hospital!
The family has accepted their fate and decided to
move on…. But should we move on? Should we just
accept this as normal? I was talking to a friend in my
office yesterday and was shocked when he informed
me that his wife also died in this same EKO Hospital
some 6 years back and the same treatment was meted
out on him!

Mom Accused of Setting Baby Afire
Indicted on Murder Charge
By The Associated Press
MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. — A New Jersey woman accused
of dousing her newborn baby with accelerant, setting
her on fire and leaving her in the middle of a road has
been indicted on a murder charge.
Burlington County Prosecutor Robert Bernardi says 22-
year-old Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier of Pemberton also
faces a child endangerment count in Tuesday's
indictment. He says an arraignment date for Dorvilier
hasn't been set.
Dorvilier remains jailed on $500,000 bail. If convicted,
she could face a sentence of life without parole.
Authorities say Dorvilier gave birth Jan. 16, after
somehow hiding the pregnancy from her family.
A short time later, police responded to a call about a
fire in a residential road in Pemberton, about 30 miles
east of Philadelphia. Officers found the baby in flames
and put out the fire.
The child reportedly was alive and breathing at the
time she was flown to a hospital. An autopsy
determined she died from smoke inhalation and burns.
Police haven't disclosed a possible motive.

The days of impunity are gone
Harass civilians, prepare for retirement, Amaechi tells
police
APRIL 6, 2015 : CHUKWUDI AKASIKE
The Rivers State Governor and the Director-General of the
Buhari Campaign Organisation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, has
said with the emergence of Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari
(retd.) as the President-elect, there will be no police brutality
and molestation in the state.
Amaechi, who called on the people of the state to vote the
All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Dr.
Dakuku Peterside, in the April 11, 2015, election, assured
voters that any police that harassed them would be
punished.
Speaking during a ward-to-ward campaign in Emohua and
Ikwerre Local Government Areas on Saturday, the governor
urged the electorate not to be afraid to come out and vote.
“Next week Saturday, I expect everybody to come out and
vote. There will be no police molestation again. There will
be no Army harassment again. Any police that molests you
must be preparing to retire and this time, it will not be
retirement, it will be punishment for retirement. So, come
out to vote. We are looking for you to come out to vote.
“The reason why I am running from ward to ward is to
encourage you to come out because after what the police
and the Army did last time, everybody will be afraid to come
out. Saturday, we should all come out to vote and as your
governor, I urge you to vote for APC,” he said.
Amaechi emphasised that his administration would set up a
commission of enquiry to look into election-related deaths
in the state during the March 28, 2015 presidential election,
adding that those found guilty would be punished according
to the law.
He said, “We have agreed to set up a commission of
enquiry to investigate all the killings so far. So, all those
people who killed, we shall punish them. Whether they like
it or not, they must account for everybody they killed.
“For the police, we believe that by now, they must have
learnt their lesson. We believe that by now, they must have
known that they were politicians and not Nigerian police.
This Saturday, we expect them to be Nigerian police and
not Nigerian politicians.”

“The reason why I am running from ward to ward is to
encourage you to come out because after what the police
and the Army did last time, everybody will be afraid to come
out. Saturday, we should all come out to vote and as your
governor, I urge you to vote for APC,” he said.

commission of enquiry to look into election-related deaths
